‘Selamat Datang’ or Welcome to the Tourism Channel.
This Tourism Channel is aimed at introducing the Malaysian arts and culture, life style, tourism services, the industry, historical and other interesting places and the many unique products that can be found in Malaysia.
This ‘channel’ is an initiative of Betamed ICT to help in the development and promotion of tourism products found in this country. We hope that it will provide the required information and background of Malaysia as required by the tourist population visiting our country. Hopefully this channel will bring Malaysia to the world.
We also hope that this service will become an integral and important part of the effort by the Malaysian government in the development and advancement of the tourism industry.
We will leave no stone unturned in providing the necessary background and information about the programs and activities prepared by the relevant agencies.
Generally this channel will contain enough materials about the many tourism programs prepared for the tourists. It will include the many beautiful and interesting places found here, such as the many enchanting islands off the shores of Malaysia; the beautiful white sandy beaches; historical and legendary stories; the arts and crafts found here such as the songket, batek and silk, silver wares, and others; the various special culinary choices; cultural presentations and many more.
Malaysia has many products to offer to the tourists. We will identify some of the special products, the historical stories yet untold, and of course we will introduce the various interesting life styles of the people who make up the Malaysian population.
